摘要： A removable seats system includes a number of vertically movable platforms supported by a platform support and displacement device which engages the platforms and which positions the platforms in a horizontally successively spaced configuration defining a gap between each two successive platforms having selective independent vertical displacement of the platforms. The removable seats system further includes a number of seat elements each associated with a corresponding platform and each including: a row of seats including at least one seat; and a seat supporting structure carried by a platform and supporting the row of seats. Each one of the seat members is movable relative to its corresponding platform between an operative position in which the row of seats is located above its corresponding platform, and a concealed position in which the row of seats is located under a platform.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for producing pasty paraffin from liquid paraffin comprises the use of an agitator for mixing the paraffin during its solidification within a receptacle. The viscosity of the paraffin is controlled by the monitoring of the power of a motor driving the agitator. Also, an apparatus is provided for producing candles in bottles from the pasty paraffin produced hereinabove. The apparatus comprises a filling head which receives the pasty paraffin and a continuous wick. A device is included for positioning a ferrule on the wick with the filling head being adapted for lowering into the bottle for positioning the ferrule at the bottom thereof and being also adapted to inject pasty paraffin in the bottle for setting the ferrule. The filling head is then retracted slowly from the bottle while injecting further paraffin therein for filling to a selected level the bottle. While the filling head retracts from the bottle, the continuous wick is made to extend from the bottom of the bottle centrally and longitudinally therein and, once the filling head is fully retracted from the bottle, the continuous wick is cut near or at the top of the bottle, thereby producing a candle in a bottle.

摘要： A mobile shelter comprising a vehicle, a post pivotally attached to the vehicle at one end, and releasably attached at the other end to an umbrella-like collapsible marquee. The marquee comprises a frame, whereby the marquee is attached to the post, a number of articulated brace assemblies pivotally connected to the frame, each brace assembly comprising a number of pivotally interconnected braces. The brace assemblies define a ground-resting end, and a pivot joint pivotally attached to a spreader ring, which in turn slidably engages the post. Upon sliding the spreader ring up and down about the post, the brace assemblies can be shifted between: a storage position, in which the brace assemblies are collapsed against the post and the ground-resting ends of the brace assemblies are located at the vicinity of the post; and a deployed position, in which the brace assemblies are deployed away from the post, the ground-resting ends of the brace assemblies are spaced-apart from the post and rest on the ground, and in which the spreader ring is releasably attached to the frame. To install the marquee, the post is pivoted away from the vehicle into a vertical stance, and the spreader ring is slid upwardly about the post, in order to shift the brace assemblies from their storage position to their deployed position, similarly to an umbrella. Then, once the brace assemblies are in their deployed position, the post can be released from the marquee's frame, and the vehicle can be driven away from the marquee with the post.
