摘要： A fastener (12) for plastic bags opened and closed by a slider (10) includes first and second track members (44, 46) with each having one of a pair of interlocking profiles (48, 50). The fastener (12) has opposite ends with terminations (14). The slider (10) is mounted on the fastener (12) and has a separation member (16) with a wide portion (40) and a narrow portion (42) positioned in the fastener (12). The slider (10), upon complete closure of the fastener (12), rides up onto a termination (14) moving the wide portion (40) of the separation member (16) out from between the fastener (12) allowing the profiles (48, 50) to lock along the entire length of the fastener (12).

The piston further includes a hollow shaft extending from a bottom surface of the upper portion. The shaft has a first end adjacent to the upper portion and a second opposing end. The shaft is configured to fit within the chamber aperture and the casing aperture. The shaft includes at least one aperture positioned at the first end. The second end of the shaft is coupled to the casing at the casing aperture. The vacuum pump is configured to evacuate air from a flexible storage container by pushing the chamber in a downward direction.

摘要： A modular container assembly comprises first, second and third containers. Each of the containers includes a continuous body portion and a rim. The rim encompasses and projects laterally outwardly from the body portion. The rim has a first feature projecting generally upwardly therefrom and a corresponding second feature being adapted to be releasably engageable with another one of the first feature. The rims of the containers are substantially identical. The containers are releasably engaged to each other by fitting respective upwardly-projecting features into the corresponding feature of another container or into the upwardly-projecting feature of another container. At least one of the first, second and third containers is inverted with respect to the remaining containers so as to form a modular container assembly.
