    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a pop-up hood apparatus for a vehicle, configured so as to extend a rod to push up a hood upon operation of an actuator in the event of a collision with a colliding object, effectively absorb collision energy when a collision load of at least a predetermined value is input in the vicinity of a hood push-up position.
