    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate placed concrete from the outside atmosphere, and prevent incursion of rainwater, dissipation of hardening heat and generation between upper and lower temperature differences by direct sunlight by attaching a cover to the upper end of a form for foundation concrete preparation. SOLUTION: A foundation top end curing material is formed of a resin-made thin plate, and sandwiching pieces 6, 6 formed on both the sides of a projection- like curved cover part 5 are press-fitted on a form by elastic deformation to be attached. Even in the case where the width of the form 7 is slightly increased and decreased, the curvature of a curvature part 5 is changed, so that attaching is enabled. Curing materials corresponding to respective shapes are used for an angular part in which foundation concrete is bent in L-shape, a part intersected in T-shape and another part intersected in X-shape. Thereby during the placed concrete is hardened, incursion of rainwater is prevented, at cold time the hardening heat of concrete is prevented from being dissipated to promote hardening, at intense heat time a temperature difference between upper and lower parts is produced by direct sunlight, and production of partial cracking can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a waterborne high-speed navigating body capable of reducing wave-making resistance during high-speed navigation, ensuring high-speed navigation with small propeller propulsion force, and stably realizing high-speed navigation, via the application of a simple means. CONSTITUTION: When a machine body 1 becomes more or less afloat on water surface, a float plate 7 lowers to such a position as causing the lower end thereof to be afloat on a water level S, due to the own weight thereof. As a result, an air flow passage 10 is formed below the body 1 out of space enclosed with the lower surface la thereof and the plate 7. When a flap 11 near the rear end of the passage 10 is lowered, pressure therein increases, and large lift acts on the body 1. Thus, the body 1 is held in such state as stably afloat on water and at the same time, a contact area between the plate 7 and water is reduced. Wave-making resistance at the plate 7, therefore, becomes small, and navigation at high speed is thereby allowed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of the barrel due to the rolling and impact of a material to be treated in the barrel when the material is placed in the barrel and the barrel is rotated in a processing soln. to plate the material and so on by automatically opening and closing the lid of the barrel only at a specified position. CONSTITUTION:A material to be treated is placed in the barrel 1 fixed to supporting rods 5 and 5 and capable of being freely rotated in the forward and backward directions with its shaft 2 as the center by transmitting the rotation of a driving shaft 7 to a spurgear 8. The barrel is rotated in the processing soln. to plate, bonderize or parkerize the material. In this case, a lid 4 is fixed to the opening 3 for charging and discharging the material in the barrel 1. A lever 15 is fixed to the pivot 12 of the lid 4, and the lever 15 is dropped into the notch 14a of an opening and closing cam 14 by the rotation of the barrel 1 to open the lid 4. In this case, an auxiliary plate 20 is supported by the rod 5 through the pressure of a spring 22 to cover the notch 14a, the plate 20 is slid on a guide rail against the spring pressure, and a guide bar 23 for opening the notch 14a of the cam 14 is fixed to the tip of the plate 20.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a useful papraffin wax-like product merely by heating PE by a heat source of its own, by heating PE for forming a paraffin wax-like substance with the aid of the heat of combustion of the PE having a self-burning property. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene (PE) having a self-burning property is burned and the heat of combustion of this PE is utilized to heat PE for forming a paraffin wax-like substance and thereby produce a paraffin wax-like substance. In general, noncrosslinked and lowly crosslined PE's have a self-extinguishing property, that is, when they are ignited, an area near the ignited portion is only locally molten, and this melt covers an unignited portion of PE and effects extinction. On the contrary, a highly crosslinked PE has a self-burning property, that is, it can keep combustion upon ignition and, in addition, the combustion temperature reaches about 900 deg.C or higher. Examples of PE used in the formation of paraffin wax-like substance are uncrosslikned PE, crosslinked PE or a mixture of the both.
