摘要： An x-ray examination apparatus comprises an x-ray image sensor matrix (1) for deriving an initial image signal from the x-ray image. The sensor elements of the x-ray sensor matrix convert incident x-rays into electric charges. These electric charges are read-out and converted into the initial image signal. Further a correction unit (2) is provided for correcting the initial image signal, notably for disturbances due to delayed transferred charges, that have been retained in the sensor elements for some time. The correction unit (2) is provided with a memory which stores correction values. Further the correction provided with a selection unit (5) for selecting appropriate correction values from the memory (3).

In one embodiment the high resolution data is structural image data and the low resolution image data is functional image data. The functional image data is gathered (20) into groups and each group is rendered and merged (24) together. While the merged images are displayed the next set of functional image data is merged and rendered and supplied to the FIFO buffer, allowing a smooth frame rate to be achieved. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for color display of a gray scale image that can display many gray scale gradations so as to distinguish a number of gray scale gradations from each other and interpret medical use gray scale images. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the method for color display of a gray scale image on a color monitor where using a lookup table assigns a prescribed output value to each gray scale gradation to drive electron guns of the color monitor. The assignment distributes the deviation of a prescribed color to the consecutive gray scale gradations so as to allow a human viewer to distinguish the gray scale gradations through the deviation distribution without causing any disturbance. Thus, the information with respect to the optical gray scale of the original gray scale image can be preserved and this is especially important for the interpretation of medical images. Furthermore, it is possible to configure the lookup table by taking information as to specific properties of display of the monitor and/or as to a surrounding environment into account in order to optimize the display of the gray scale image.
