摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible electronic endoscope instrument with which an observation object position in an endoscope observation image is easily specified when the endoscope observation image is examined later by detecting the position of the tip of an insertion part made of a flexible tube inserted into a human body without radiation exposure. SOLUTION: Each curve detection part 22 of an optical fiber 21 for detecting a curve where the transmitting quantity of light is varied corresponding to a curved angle is dispersedly arranged at the insertion part made of the flexible tube 1. A tip position detection means 40 for detecting the position of the tip of the insertion part made of the flexible tube 1 based on detected values obtained from the plurality of curve detection parts 22 is provided, and a combined storage preservation means 47 for combining the video signal of the endoscope observation image and positional information of the tip of the insertion part made of the flexible tube 1 when the video signal is obtained and storing and preserving them is provided.

SOLUTION: A plurality of flexible bend detecting optical fibers 21 to change quantity of light transmission according to the bent angle respectively with a bend detecting part 22 are attached to a flexible board 15 for transmitting signals for an ultrasonic probe 14 so that the bend detecting parts 22 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the flexible board 15. Bend conditions at bend detecting parts 22 positioned on the flexible board 15 are detected from quantity of light transmission by bend detecting optical fiber 21 and displayed on a monitor screen 41 as the bend condition of the flexible tube 1 of the inserting part.

SOLUTION: This endoscope is equipped with a flexible tube member 10 detachably attached on the inserting part 1. A plurality of optical fiber 21 for bend detecting, which have bend detecting parts 22 to change quantity of light transmitting corresponding to a bend angle, are fixed on the tube member 10 so that the bend detecting parts 22 are arranged in the axis direction shifting positions. Bend conditions of the tube member 10 on positions of the bend detecting parts 22 are detected from quantity of light transmitting of the optical fiber 21 for bend detecting. The bend conditions are displayed on a monitor screen 41 as the bend condition of the inserting part 1.

摘要： In an electronic endoscope system, a scope has an image sensor provided at a distal end thereof to generate image-pixel signals. A proximal end of the scope is connected to an image-signal processing unit, in which the image-pixel signals are processed to produce a video signal. A light source device is provided in the processing unit. An optical light guide extends through the scope. When the connection is established between the scope and the processing unit, the light guide is optically connected to the light source device. The light source device includes a white light lamp, and an ultraviolet lamp, and a mirror for selectively introducing either the white light or the ultraviolet light into the light guide.

摘要： An electronic endoscope system that shares peripheral devices, such as a TV monitor, VCR etc., among a plurality of electronic endoscopes via an electronic endoscope selector. Each of the electronic endoscopes is connected to the electronic endoscope selector and the electronic endoscope selector selectively switches between video signals of the electronic endoscopes and feeds them to the TV monitor. Further the electronic endoscope selector comprises image memories and is able to store an image captured by the electronic endoscopes. A stored image may be comparatively displayed on the screen of the TV monitor with the live video being captured by the selected endoscope units. Further, the comparative display is controlled by control buttons on the electronic endoscope. The electronic endoscope selector also comprises a memory for storing image parameters for each electronic endoscope, and adjusts images on the screen by utilizing the parameter for each electronic endoscope.
