摘要： A superimposer is adapted to superimpose an indicator mark on a position of a given focus point. A focus point luminance detector (24) is used for detecting the luminance of a position. The brightness of the indicator mark is increased as the luminance of the position increases. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an apparatus for superimposing an indicator mark on a given focus point from multiple focus points; and (B) a method for superimposing an indicator mark on an image.

摘要： A flash controlling system for a camera comprises a flash (not shown), a flash case (4), a case rotating mechanism (210, 211 and other parts not shown) for moving said flash case between a down position at which said flash case is received by said camera body and an up position at which said flash case projects from said camera body, and a controller (not shown) for controlling said case rotating mechanism. When the flash case is at the down position and is pulled up to the up position by an external force (for example, when a user begins to forcibly raise the flash case by hand), the flash case is automatically moved to the up position. When the flash case at the up position and is pressed to the down position by an external force, the flash case is automatically moved to the down position. When the flash case is at the up position and a power source of the camera body is turned off, the flash case is automatically moved to the down position.
