    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a tunnel section widening method which is carried out at a low construction cost while minimizing an influence on an atmosphere on the ground.
      SOLUTION: According to the tunnel section widening method for providing a width-spread tunnel at a partial section in a main tunnel, a width-spread tunnel lining having a U-shaped cross section, is constructed at a location adjacent to a main tunnel lining by arranging an opening surface of the width-spread tunnel in a manner opening toward a virtual construction location of the main tunnel lining. Then, the main tunnel lining is constructed according to a shield tunneling method by making contact with extreme tips of upper and lower floor slabs of the width-spread tunnel lining.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground water flowing down device capable of eliminating an evil effect in the case a ground water vein is cut off by constructing an underground structure, at the same time, making maintenance and being restored to the initial efficiency. SOLUTION: The ground water flowing down device is constituted of a plurality of upstream side shafts and downstream side shafts set at a predetermined interval along the side of the underground structure, a collecting pipe connected to both upper stream side shafts, collecting the ground water from a sandy soil layer and collected to the upstream side shafts, a water pipe connected to both upstream side shaft and downstream side shaft and making the ground water collected to the upstream side shafts flow down to the downstream side shafts and a drain pipe connected to a plurality of downstream side shafts and making the ground water flow from the upstream side shafts and making the ground water flowing from the upstream side shafts infiltrate into the downstream side sandy soil layer.
