    • A storage system includes a replication source storage device equipped with a replication source storage unit storing replication target data, and a replication destination storage unit which is provided to a replication destination storage device and is a replication destination of the replication target data, which are connected with each other over a network. The replication destination storage unit is equipped with a host bus adapter which is an interface for connecting the replication destination storage unit with the network. Each of the replication source storage device and the host bus adapter provided to the replication destination storage unit is equipped with a connection device which uses the network, located between them, as an extension of a bus of the replication source storage device, and connects the replication source storage device and the host bus adapter provided to the replication destination storage unit with each other.

    • The present invention provides a file operation control device capable of using an extended function existing in a file system via a network. The device has: virtual namespace presenting section that presents, as a virtual namespace, an operation for an extended function existing in a file system; file system operation receiving section that receives an operation existing in the virtual namespace presented by the virtual namespace presenting means; file system extension operation converting section that converts the operation existing in the virtual namespace received by the file system operation receiving means to the operation for the extended function; and file system extension operating section that performs a process on the operation for the extended function converted by the file system extension operation converting means.

    • A reception carrier wave, a first transmission carrier wave, and a second transmission carrier wave are generated. The reception carrier wave is mixed with the reception wave to produce a reception signal. The frequency of the first transmission carrier wave is halved, and the first transmission carrier wave is mixed with a transmission signal to produce a modulated wave. The second transmission carrier wave is mixed with the modulated wave to produce a transmission wave. Since neither the frequency of the first transmission carrier wave nor the frequency of the second transmission carrier wave agrees with each of the frequency of the modulated wave and the frequency fTX, the degradation of the modulation precision on a transmission side can be prevented. Also, because the frequency of the first transmission carrier wave is halved, the interference of the first transmission carrier wave with the transmission signal band can be reduced.
