摘要： In a picture distribution method and device, a picture supply device is connected to a network and serves to supply prescribed picture sources to plural subscriber terminals through the network. The picture sources can be supplied to any subscriber terminal just when a supply demand for a picture source is made from the subscriber terminal, and a single picture source can be supplied to a large number of subscribers with a simple control operation. The picture supply device includes a first file for storing the picture sources, plural second files for temporarily storing the picture sources, a copying unit for copying any picture source in the first file into the second files, and a read-out unit provided for each second file for reading out the picture source stored in the second file. A transmitting unit is provided for transmitting the output line of the read-out unit to the subscriber circuit connected to the subscriber terminal to transmit the picture source to the subscriber terminal. An analyzer analyzes the picture-source supply demand from the subscriber terminal to perform identification of an address in the first file for the picture source, identification of an empty second file and identification of the subscriber circuit connected to the subscriber terminal.

摘要： A routing method routes cells which are transferred through one of a plurality of paths within an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching system selected by routing information. The routing method includes the steps of adding first routing information to incoming cells at an input stage of the ATM switching system when supplying the cells to the ATM switching system, generating a route switching confirmation cell in response to a route switching instruction and for adding second routing information to incoming cells thereafter so as to supply the route switching confirmation cell and the cells added with the second routing information to the ATM switching system. The second routing information is different from the first routing information and is determined by the route switching instruction, comparing routing information. The method also includes the cells with the second routing information at an output stage of the ATM switching system in response to the route switching instruction, and outputting each cell from the ATM switching system having routing information different from the second routing information as it is. The method also includes temporarily storing each cell from the ATM switching system having routing information identical to the second routing information and reading out and outputting the stored cell after the route switching confirmation cell is output from the ATM switching system.

摘要： Whenever there is an incoming call to a terminal accommodated by a terminating exchange, the terminating exchange creates incoming-call data, which contains at least the terminating subscriber's number, the originating subscriber's number and the communication time, and transmits the incoming-call basic data to a communication center. The communication center accumulates the incoming-call basic data and, in response to issuance of an output request, creates and outputs an incoming-call logging list for the requesting user on the basis of the incoming-call basic data. Further, secondary data, which includes at least the names and addresses of calling parties, is registered in a data base beforehand in correspondence with subscriber's numbers. The secondary data is combined with the incoming-call basic data to create incoming-call information, which is then stored in memory. In response to issuance of the output request, the incoming-call logging list of the requesting user is outputted based upon the incoming-call information.

The node station includes a distribution information storage unit for storing information which is to be distributed to the plurality of terminal devices, and a re-transmission request response unit for re-transmitting information in question in response to requests from the plurality of terminal devices. Each of the terminal devices includes an error checking unit for checking transmission failure in the data transmission based on the received information. The transmitted information is divided into a plurality of blocks, and, after the completion of reception of all block-form information, a re-transmission of information is requested, and based on this request, a re-transmission of information is carried out.

摘要： In a header driven type packet switching system, all incoming and outgoing lines required for the system are divided into groups to constitute a two stage structure of incoming and outgoing modules, which are prepared for the respective incoming and outgoing line groups. In each incoming module, outgoing module and outgoing line, information is given to packets, and the data packets are successively transferred from the outgoing modules to the corresponding outgoing lines. Thus, the system can flexibly cope with an increase of the incoming lines and the number of calls.
