    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of an engine-driven air conditioner capable of adjusting a discharge amount of liquid refrigerant from an accumulator and also adjusting a liquid refrigerant amount for heat-exchanging with engine cooling water.SOLUTION: In the engine-driven air conditioner, the accumulator 2 is provided for a suction line 11 of compressors 1a, 1b to heat-exchange the liquid refrigerant in the accumulator 2 and the engine cooling water. The engine-driven air conditioner is provided with a refrigerant outlet port 30 from the accumulator 2 below an orifice 10 of the suction line 11 inside the accumulator 2, and provided with a heat-exchanging line 3 for connecting the refrigerant outlet port 30 and the suction line 11 extending from the accumulator 2 to the compressors 1a, 1b. In the heat exchanging line 3, an electric expansion valve 4 is provided at the downstream part of the refrigerant outlet port 30. In the heat exchanging line 3, a heat exchanger 5 for heat-exchanging with the engine cooling water is provided at the downstream part of the electric expansion valve 4. An opening degree of the electric expansion valve 4 is adjusted based on a super-heating degree of the suction line 11 from the accumulator 2 to the compressors 1a, 1b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of noise generated by a starter cable on a rotation pickup, for preventing an engine speed from being erroneously detected when the noise generated from the starter cable gets on a rotation pickup signal, in an engine-driven type heat pump.
      SOLUTION: In an engine 21, the rotation pickup 40 and a starter motor 51 are arranged on the same surface side. The rotation pickup 40 is oppositely arranged in a flywheel 31. The starter cable 52 connecting the starter motor 51 and a starter device 53, is suspended from the engine 21 upper side on the anti-flywheel 31 side, and is separated from the rotation pickup 40.
