    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resources usage measuring device and a control circuit thereof capable of inhibiting degradation of nonvolatile memories to enhance reliability of data storage. SOLUTION: When flow rate variation ΔQ of gas is measured more than the smallest accounting unit of 1 m 3 (step S102; N), writing period WP is set up at a usual writing period WP1 (step S103); whereas when ΔQ is measured less than 1 m 3 (step S102; Y), writing period WP is set up at a writing frequency WP2 that is reduced from the usual writing period WP1 (step S104). Thus, nonvolatile memories can be protected from degradation, resulting from meaningless iteration of writing despite of no variation in flow-rate integrated value, as conventionally. Based on conditions of batteries, for example, the output voltage between terminals or the period of use (calendar year), and the like, by controlling to enhance writing period during the end of the lifetime of a battery, reliability is enhanced in data storage.
