    • Aspects of the invention relate to hard imaging apparatus charging devices, imaging assemblies, imaging assemblies charging methods, and hard imaging device image bearing member charging methods. In one aspect, a hard imaging apparatus charging device is disclosed. The charging device includes first and second end members, and an intermediate member connecting the first and second end members. The intermediate member may have a length corresponding to an imaging area of the image bearing member of the hard imaging apparatus. The intermediate member may be configured to charge the imaging area used to form latent images on the image bearing member during hard imaging operations of the hard imaging apparatus. The first and second end members of the charging device may be configured to maintain a predetermined spaced charging clearance between the intermediate member and the imaging area of the image bearing member. The first and second end members and the intermediate member of the charging device include a monolithic layer.

    • Systems and methods of supplying marking fluid in an imaging system are described. In one aspect, height signals indicative of relative marking fluid levels in a marking fluid tank reservoir are generated. A measure of marking fluid flow rate is computed based upon multiple height signals generated during at least a portion of a startup period extending from a time when flow of marking fluid to the imaging assembly is insubstantial to a time when marking fluid in the marking fluid tank reservoir reaches a substantially steady-state level.

    • Example methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture to control gloss quality in printed images are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes a print engine to print a plurality of images for respective ones of a plurality of colors, each image representing a plurality of different print parameter combinations, a scan module to measure a first plurality of light reflectances for respective ones of the plurality of images and the print parameter combinations, and a calibrator to calibrate an operation of the print engine for respective ones of the plurality of colors based on the first plurality of measured light reflectances, the operations of the print engine including at least one of an order of ink application, a rate of ink application, a density of ink application, or an applied amount of gloss enhancer.
