    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of hardening an activation energy ray hardenable substance and an activation energy ray irradiation apparatus which can prevent curling of a sheet applied with an activation energy ray hardenable substance when the activation energy ray hardenable substance is hardened.SOLUTION: A method is for irradiating a membrane-like body M consisting of an active energy ray hardenable substance formed on the surface of a sheet-like member BS with activation energy rays to harden the membrane-like body M. The position where the membrane-like body M is irradiated with activation energy rays is shifted from the center to the outer edge of the membrane-like body M along the surface of the membrane-like body M. The method allows hardening of the membrane-like body M from the center to the outer edge sequentially and thereby suppresses occurrence of an internal stress inside the membrane-like body M, leading to suppression of curling of the sheet-like member BS due to hardening of the membrane-like body M.
