    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pile from breaking owing to horizontal forces and bending moments from the upper construction. SOLUTION: A pedestal 2 is fitted at the top of a pile 1 and legs 4 fixed to the upper construction are put on the pedestal 2 to form a vibration isolation structure. And the sliding plate 5 fitted to the lower end of the legs 4 is positioned to contact the pedestal 2 and the legs are supported so as to slide on the pedestal. A circular outer seal 21 made of a flexible material is fitted to the peripheral edge of the sliding plate 5 and a circular inner seal 22 is fitted to the underface of the sliding plate 5 of the inside thereof. The circular outer seal 21 is provided with such a structure that it can follow up to fill a gap even if it is brought between the pedestal 2 and the sliding plate 5. A hole for a nozzle 23 is cut at the nearly central part of the sliding plate 5. When a specified pressure drop is brought at the nearby position of the outlet of nozzle 23, high pressure air and air bubble are ejected from the nozzle 23.

    • PURPOSE:To permit primary construction of covering soil to be automatically and efficiently performed by excavating a tunnel of contour larger than a shield main unit by a cutter head generating a loosened region simultaneously injecting a quick-setting filling material into the loosened region. CONSTITUTION:While propelling a shield main unit 1, a tunnel of contour larger than the outside diameter of the main unit 1 is excavated by a cutter head 2 in its front face bit 6 and peripheral part overcutter 6, and the natural ground in the periphery is loosened. Further simultaneously with the excavation, a filling material of cement is jetted to a loosened area 10 from an injection hole 11 in a back part of the cutter 6 and mixed with the earth and sand. A quick-setting agent is jetted to the periphery from two or more injection holes 15 in the periphery of the main unit 1, mixing with the cement in the filled loosened area 10 and quickly solidifying the cement. Thus simultaneously performing excavation progress of the tunnel and the primary construction of covering soil, elimination or reduction of labor, saving of material and the high speed of construction can be contrived.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure and make proper the flow of a bulk material by providing a high water-absorbing resin supply line as well as a mixer and pipes, etc., for earth and sand, and the like and controlling the pressure in an earth pressure chamber by the opening/closing of valves in accordance with the output of a control means based on a detected pressure value. CONSTITUTION:A segment 3 is formed in the rear of a shield excavator 1 having a cutter drum 2, and an excavating speed is calculated by means of a jack stroke meter 29 and an excavation controller 26. An earth pressure chamber 6 is formed in the rear of the drum 2 while opening the discharge ports of injection pipes 7 in the front to discharge out a high water-absorbing resin, which is mixed with and gelatinizes the earth and sand in both working face and earth pressure chamber 6. A discharge port is connected to an earth/sand discharging conveying pipe 9, the rear portion of which is connected to a fine-particle storing portion, and a high water- absorbing resin supply line 12, a conveying pump 13, an air compressor 14, an injection control device 15, a mixer 16, a fine-particle conveying pipe 18, etc. are provided in the segment 3. Thereby, excavation can be carried out by means of a shield tunneling method even with a ground having a large water content.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the primary construction of covering soil to be performed within the shield digging time by excavating the ground to be spread with a large contour rotary drum, provided in the intermediate part of a shield main unit, and mixing quick setting concrete in the natural ground earth and sand loosened in a doughnut shape. CONSTITUTION:While propelling a shield main unit 1 to be advanced, a tunnel is excavated by a cutter head 2, simultaneously digging earth and sand in the outside of the main unit 1 by a peripheral cutter 5a of a rotary drum 5 with a diameter larger than the main unit 1 mounted between a front barrel 1a and a rear barrel 1b, the periphery of the tunnel is spread in its size. Next in the loosened earth and sand excavated into a doughnut shape, concrete or the like of arrow head A, mixing a quick setting agent and flash setting agent of arrow head B, is mixed through many concrete depositing pipes 15, and a fin 5b stirs the concrete to be solidified. Thus concurrently performing excavation advancing of the tunnel and primary soil covering construction, it can be performed within the shield digging time.
