With this constitution, and arrangement for the temporary installation, transfer, removal and the depth of water is facilitated, and the use of the title device is permitted at a place where tidal power and wave force are large.

    • A flexible tube is expansibly mounted to a sounder body, through which a plurality of detector elements are provided to be extensible in the radial directions and abut at their respective outer ends against the inside of the flexible tube. A sealed space is provided in the sounder body and filled with a liquid therein to be radially expansible with extension of the detector elements. Toward the liquid in the sealed space, a follower member is urged to be displaced by the radial expansion of the sealed space, whereby when the flexible tube is expanded by a fluid material fed therein, the displacement of the follower member is measured to know the elasticity and creep in the ground.

CONSTITUTION:A number of plate materials 10 and elastic members 12 are alternately laminated, and laminates 16 laid between both plate materials 10 with oscillation supporting point members 14 in the same direction, a weight dropping mechanism to give heavy blow to the upper parts on the single sides facing each other across the supporting points of the laminates 16 by the drop of a weight 18 are provided. When the weight drops, the heights at the centers of the laminates remain unchanged, a space between both plate materials given heavy blow is narrowed and a space is widened on the opposite side. Water is rushed out of the narrowed space to the outside and in-hole water is rushed into the widened space from the outside, so that the impulse produces a S-wave on a borehole wall.

    • PURPOSE:To allow the self-advancing device to advance accurately at a fixed distance while various probes are held in a boring pit, etc., and to correspond even to not only a vertical pit but also an inclined pit and a horizontal pit. CONSTITUTION:The self-advancing device is composed of first and second blocks 10, 12 and an expansion drive section 14 connecting the blocks. A plurality of stages of a plurality of leaf spring-shaped leg piece sections 16 are all protruded to the outer circumferential surfaces of both blocks uniformly in the same oblique outward direction. The expansion drive section is expansion-contraction- moved in the axial direction. The front ends of the leg piece sections reach a boring pit wall. Since the front ends of the leg piece sections push the pit wall, the device is held in the pit. Since each leg piece section is directed in the same oblique upward direction, resistance at the front ends of the leg piece sections is increased in the upward direction, thus alternately moving both blocks only in the downward direction.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a flexible tube from slipping up, by fixing a net-like cylindrical protecting member made of synthetic resin to the exterior of the flexible tube so that the tube can expand easily in the longitudinal direction but hardly in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical protecting member 6 is provided to a conventional probe composed of a metal cylinder 1 and a flexible tube 3 which is inflated by pressurized liquid. The cylinder 3 has a double structure composed of an inner part 1a and an outer part 1b formed therein a through-hole 4 for filling pressurized water. The cylindrical protecting member 6 has a net-like body made of synthetic resin so that the flexible tube can expand easily in the longitudinal direction but hardly in the circumferential direction, and the upper and lower ends thereof are fastened to the upper and lower ends of the flexible tube 3. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the flexible tube 3 from slipping up or rolling up during pressurization.
