摘要： FIELD: low-voltage means using cathodic luminescence for information display. SUBSTANCE: proposed matrix screen that can be used for digital and alphanumeric displays, universal panels for visualizing any kind of information such as texts, characters, graphics, reading devices of analog and digital-analog measuring instruments for calculators, clocks, shared display panels, and the like has vacuum envelope assembled of two flat glass plates and substrate carrying following insulator-separated electrodes: first anodes of conductive layer and thin flat butt- end emitters jointly connected through anode and emitter buses to respective leads for connecting power supplies and insulating frame that hermetically joins plate and substrate; inner surface of plate carries in addition second anodes of conducting material covered with phosphor; emitters and first anodes are made in the form of matrix structure for reflecting part of electron current in direction of second anode; emitter buses are made in the form of lines orthogonal to anode buses and each emitter bus is electrically insulated from other buses. In addition carbon film is used as emitter; preset distance between flat glass plate and substrate ensures desired spatial definition of information being displayed. 摘要： FIELD: low- voltage data displays, digital and alphanumeric displays, universal data display panels. SUBSTANCE: screen has vacuum envelope assembled of two glass plates of which one is transparent face plate and other is substrate mounting flat thin end emitters and anodes coated with conducting layer and phosphor to form light-emitting element; anodes and emitters are connected through anode and emitter buses to supply voltage leads; it also has insulating frame that tightly joins transparent plate and substrate together. Light-emitting element is built up of two parts of which first one is electron source provided with emitters and anodes coated with conducting layer; anodes and emitters are made in the form of combs inserted one into other and spaced through small adjustable distance apart in parallel planes; other part is light source made in the form of anode coated with conducting layer and phosphor; light source is disposed nearby in electron irradiation zone with electrons generated by electron source. In addition surface area of light emitting element light source is larger than that of light-emitting element electron source by 2-5 times; light source of light emitting element may be made of any desired configuration.
