摘要： Prepared is a transcribing plate comprising a glass substrate and a chromium film formed on a surface of the glass substrate. The transcribing plate is disposed on a surface of an object (for example, a glass substrate of a plasma display panel) such that the chromium film faces the surface of the object. The transcribing plate is pressed toward the object, if necessary. A predetermined identification code pattern is drawn on the transcribing plate by a YAG laser beam. The laser beam reaches, through the glass plate, the chromium film to heat it. Chromium vapors generated by the heating are deposited on the surface of the object. This means that the identification code pattern is transcribed on the object surface.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax the limitation based on the thickness and material of an object to be marked and to execute fine marking using a laser beam without flawing the surface. SOLUTION: The transfer plate 13, coating a color film on one side surface of the substrate 7 having a transparent nature to the laser beam 14, is provided. The transfer plate 13 to be provided is superposed on the desired position of the surface being the object to be marked so that the color film faces. The color film is heated with the laser beam 14 transmitting the substrate 7 while irradiating the superposed transfer plate 13 from the wear with the laser beam 14 in correspondence to the desired marking shape, whereby the color film on the transfer plate 14 is transferred on the surface being the object to be marked with the desired marking shape. And the transfer plate 14 is removed from the surface being the object to be marked.
