    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gable frame structure and a method for forming a tunnel covering, whereby it is possible to easily and certainly prevent the placed concrete from leaking through the gap between the inner wall surface of the tunnel and the outer extremity of a gable plate, which can be accomplished without requiring much labor. SOLUTION: A gable frame structure 15 installed at the gable part of a covering concrete form is composed of a gable plate 18 installed in such a way that the outside is supported by a gable frame cylinder 17 advancing and retreating in the radial direction of the tunnel and a metal mesh 19 which is installed alongside the inner side of the gable plate 18 and attached in such a condition as extending to outside the gable plate 18 and curved inward. When concrete is placed into a form 10, this metal mesh 19 is extruded outward by the internal pressure of the concrete to cause the outside surface to be in tight attachment to the inside circumferential surface of the tunnel, which generates interposition in the gap between the tip of the gable plate 18 and the inside circumferential surface of the tunnel, and the concrete is held inside the form. The intended tunnel covering 16' is being constructed while the metal mesh 19 is left at the forefront of the covering.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form used for a tunnel other than a tunnel having an applicable inside diameter.
      SOLUTION: In the forms for a tunneling work in which a covering plate is installed on the outer peripheral surface of a structural material formed in an arch shape by combining respective members of a top end section, left-right side wall sections and left-right lower end sections, a charging space is formed at a desired place in the peripheral direction of the structural material, a chock liner formed separately from the structural material can be charged into the charging space, and the outside diameter of the forms can be adjusted by charging the chock liners having different widths and shapes into the space. The outside diameter of the forms is enlarged by widening the inside of the chock liner charged into the space, and the outside diameter of the forms can be reduced by narrowing the inside.
