    • PURPOSE:To suppress the subsidence of the ground, by a method in which many porous materials are penetrated into a soft ground, a cut-off wall is constructed around the area, a structure is constructed on them, and pressure water is injected into the porous materials in the closed area of the soft ground by a water supplying means. CONSTITUTION:Hollow cylinders 4 with many small holes 4 are penetrated to a given depth into soft ground 1, and a water storage tank 9 having a pressure water supply tube 5 connected to the upper part of the cylinders 3, a horizontal pressure water supply tube 6, a valve 7, and a piezometer 8 is set. A cut-off wall 10 is constructed to a given depth in the end area of a target ground, the ground is excavated, and a foundation 2 is constructed. The water of the tank 9 is sent into the tube 5 inserted into the cylinders 3 to a given water level and injected into the closed area 12 of soft ground which is closed by the head of the tank 9, the foundation 2, the cut-off wall 10, and the water- impermeable layer 11. The bearing force against the superstructure can thus be reinforced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of concrete and volume of reinforcing bars and reduce the work of a diver by driving a chemical anchor on a revetment which is already constructed in advance, installing a PC plate in the sea to connect its upper and lower parts tightly by a separator and assemble gable end form, and then placing water concrete. SOLUTION: A chemical anchor 11 is placed and fixed on a concrete face of a caisson 3 which is already installed. Next, a lower part fixing device 5 is installed based on the measurement of quaywall normal line. Then, the erection of conducting material timbering support waling is preceded from a caisson in which the installation of the device 5 is completed, and a conducting material timbering and a conducting material 8 are sequeutially installed in this order. The ground assembly and erection of an upper part fixing device 6 are succeedinglydone. Then, a PC plate 1 is put on a pedestal of the lower part fixing device 5 and is fixed. The PC plate 1 and the conducting material 8 of the upper part fixing device 6 are fixed. After that, a separator 4 is fixed at predetermined length, and gable end form is installed in the direction of construction work cross section. Consequently, it is possible to reduce a driver's work, reduce cost, and shorten construction term markedly.

    • PURPOSE:To permit a caisson to be settled in shallow water depth with high accuracy by a method in which a shell having an air-tight bag on its downside is towed to a settling position, concrete is placed into the shell, and the bag is degassed and settled on the bottom under water. CONSTITUTION:A steel hollow cutting edge shell 12 having an air-tight bag 10 on its downside is towed to a settling position. Concrete is placed into the shell 12 while charging as into the bag 10 to form the bottom slab 16 of caisson in a floated state. After the concrete hardens, the bag 10 is deflated and the cutting edge 18 is landed on the bottom under water. The walls 22 of the caisson are formed on the slab 16, and the bottom 20 below the cutting edge 18 is excavated to settle the caisson down to a given depth. Since control on attitude of the caisson during settling period can be performed by controlling the amount of air in the bag 10, the resettling of the caisson is made possible by supplying of air into the bag 10 even when the settling position is shifted by tidal waves or current.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson structural body capable of preventing a member strength from being excessively designed by eliminating nonuniformity of reinforcement arrangement to save labor and provide a wave power dissipation function. SOLUTION: A structural body 10 comprises a reinforced concrete side wall part 12 and a bottom board part 14. The side wall part 12 has a horizontal cross-section formed in cylindrical shape, its interior is made hollow, and its bottom end side is closed so as to form it integrally with the bottom board part 14. On the outer periphery of the side wall part 12, a fitted recessed part 18 forming one of connection parts 16 is formed at specified intervals in circumferential direction. A component member on the other side of the connection part 16 is a curved plate 20, and both end sides of the curved plate 20 are inserted between the fitted recessed parts 18 of the side wall parts 12 adjacent to each other when a plurality of caisson structural bodies 10 are sunk so as to be adjacent to each other on a water bottom ground.
