摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently clean a contaminated substance without imparting an influence to the environment and carrying out a after-treatment such as pH adjustment for preventing it even in the contaminated soil having high viscosity. SOLUTION: In the method for cleaning contaminated soil by a microorganism, the contaminated soil containing clay or silt as a main component and trichloroethylene as a contaminant is digged and is temporarily placed on a ground (Step 101). Subsequently, a pearlite 2 being one of an inorganic soil improving material, i.e., an oil improving material and a decomposing bacterium 3 for decomposing trichloroethylene are added to the contaminated soil (Step 102). Nextly, gap water contained in the clay or the silt is absorbed to the pearlite 2 by stirring/mixing the contaminated soil (Step 103). Subsequently, a ventilation work for feeding air into the contaminated soil 1 to decompose trichloroethylene by the microorganism (Step 104). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
