    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector cap which is intended to make operation efficient in taking out one optical fiber from a plurality of unconnected optical fibers with a connector while risk of an operator is avoided, and also to provide a pair identification system.
      SOLUTION: The connector cap is designed to cover a ferrule of an optical fiber connector, having a function of protecting the ferrule from soiling and damage and a function of diffusing visible light to outside when the visible light in a predetermined wavelength band is released from the end face of the ferrule. Also, it may have a function of attenuating the visible light within a predetermined range. The pair identification system is composed of the connector cap attached to the unconnected connector and of a visible light source for the purpose of inserting the visible light from the side with no connector cap of the optical fiber attached. The output of the visible light is within a predetermined range.
