摘要： The invention provides a toner for electrostatic image development having a binder resin containing a amorphous polyester resin and a crystalline polyester resin, and a coloring agent, and satisfying the following relationship (1): SP(L)>SP(H)>SP(C) (1) wherein SP(H) is the solubility parameter of a resin contained in an elution fraction F (0-10) from the beginning of elution of W1 until 10% of elution of W1 when W1 is the whole area of an elution curve on a gel permeation chromatograph measured for an acetone-soluble fraction; SP(L) is the solubility parameter of a resin contained in an elution fraction F (80-100) from 80% to 100% of the elution of W1; and SP(C) is the solubility parameter of the crystalline polyester resin.

摘要： There is provided a toner for electrostatic charge image development, which includes a binder resin that includes a non-crystalline polyester resin and a crystalline polyester resin, and a colorant, wherein in a measurement of an acetone-soluble fraction of the toner by gel permeation chromatography, in which W1 represents the total area of an elution curve of the acetone-soluble fraction, F(0-10) represents an eluate corresponding to from the beginning of the elution to 10% elution of W1 over time, and F(80-100) represents an eluate corresponding to from 80% elution to 100% elution of W1 over time, the amount of an aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid-derived component of the resins contained in the eluate F(0-10) is in the range of from about 0 mol % to about 10 mol % relative to the total amount of the acid-derived components of the resins contained in the eluate F(0-10), and the amount of the aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid-derived component of the resins contained in the eluate F(80-100) is in the range of from about 20 mol % to about 60 mol % relative to the total amount of the acid-derived components of the resins contained in the eluate F(80-100).

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: an image bearing body on which surface an image is formed and borne; an image forming section that forms the image; a transfer device that transfers the formed image to a transferring body; a cleaning member that comes into contact with the surface of the image bearing body to scrape an adhesion substance after the image is transferred; a storage tank in which the removed adhesion substance is stored; a damming member that obstructs a region between the cleaning member and the storage tank to temporarily dam the adhesion substance moving from the cleaning member to the storage tank on the cleaning member side, the damming member including overlapped members having openings, the members including a movable member that is slidable with respect to other member; and a driving section that drives the movable member to change an overlapping amount between the openings.
