    • PURPOSE: A transfer device composed of a roller conveyor and a skewer-shaped receiver is set under the outlet end of the conveyor for carrying out laver sheets so that the receiver freely inclines, thus conveying each laver sheet in the right attitude.
      CONSTITUTION: The laver sheet 1, peeled off from the laver sheet-making screen, is carried by conveyor 2 and transferred to the gap 11 betwen the skewer-shaped receiver 10 and the pushing roller 9. The base plate equipped with roller 9 and the receiver 10 is supported with a shaft and the device becomes horizontal, after the laver sheet is completely transferred to the device. At this time, the receiver 10 comes below the roller conveyor 6 and the laver sheet is nipped with the roller coveyor 6 and the pushing roller 9, then sent to the next stage. The end roller 9 of the roller conveyor 6 is provided with electrodes to detect undried laver sheets.

    • PURPOSE:A hooking fastener for drainboard of laver for sandwiching firmly original rods, preventing end breakage of yarn connecting the original rods and deformation of drainboard of laver, obtained by forming a specific sandwiching part of original rods to sandwich elastically the original rods, a hooking part to be inserted into space between the original rods. CONSTITUTION:The sandwiching arms 21 and 22 of the min body 24 of hooking tool having the connecting part 23 rotatably supported by the horizontally mounting frame 25 are opened by the use of the tool 34, the drainboard 36 of laver is inserted into space between the arms, and the tool 34 is removed. The original rods are firmly held by the sandwiching parts 26 and 27 of original rod, the hooking part 29 to be inserted into original rods is inserted into the original rods 28, attached to them, so that sliding of the drainboard 36 of laver on the horizontally mounting frame 25 and release of the drainboard 36 of laver are surely prevented. The, the action end 33 of the tool 34 is inserted into the engaging part 32 of tool, the tool 34 is rotated around the dent 35 as a support, the sandwiching arms 21 and 22 are released, the hooking part 29 is separated from the original rods 28, the sandwiching force of the sandwiching parts 26 and 27 are released, and the drainboard 36 of laver is taken out from the frame 25.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of laver sheets and smooth the flow of drying air flowing through a gap between reed screens simultaneously, by keeping the uniform state of tension all over the reed screens. CONSTITUTION:A pair of members 1 mounted in parallel with screen reeds (2a) in both ends of a reed screen 2 have holding parts 3 having almost the same length as that of the reed screen 2 and axial parts 4 linked to both ends of the holding parts 3 in the long direction. The holding parts 3 consist of a metallic material such as stainless steel having a good thermal conductivity, and the outer shape thereof is of streamline cross section. An engaging grooves 5 for inserting an end rods (2b) of the reed screen 2 are provided in the long direction of the holding parts 3, and the end rods (2b) are held elastically by the engaging grooves 5. Both ends of the reed screen 2 are stretched by the holding parts 3 to maintain the uniform state of tension all over the reed screen 2.

    • PURPOSE:To make the mounting and unloading of drainboards easy and to lessen their damages, by equipping the drainboards for laver capable of making two or more sheets of laver in parallel with reinforcing members continuously, followed by setting slidably the reinforcing members on furnishing members which are mounted on chains. CONSTITUTION:The drainboards 1 for laver with long sideways have such width that they can make two or more sheets of the laver A in parallel, and the reinforcing members 3 having the same width as that of a laver attaching surface are furnished continuously on both sides of the drainboards. The reinforcing members 3 are set on the furnishing members 5 having the engaging rods 7 which are engaged with the conveyor chains 6 so that the drainboards 1 are mounted on the chains. The flexible levers 9 which are set on the sliding cylinders 10 supported by the chain engaging bars 11 at the centers of the both ends of the drainboards are supported by the chain engaging bars 7.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the width of a laver sheet forming machine and miniaturize the machine, by using a necessary number of sheet forming frames provided on a transverse beam member closely side by side and a wide reed screen for the laver. CONSTITUTION:A reed screen 31 for laver carried by chain conveyors is set on a base plate 25 on lifting sheet forming frames 6. The sheet forming frames 6 are then lowered by the action of a cam to hold the screen 31 between the frames 6 and the base plate 25. When a sheet forming water pipe 30 is lifted by the action of a linking mechanism, bellows 28 are contracted to lift the water for the sheet formation therein to the interior of the sheet forming frames 6. A transverse beam member 4 is simultaneously lifted to open valve openings 14 by valve bodies 15 in valve cages 11, and a raw laver stock is made to flow in the sheet forming frames 6. The sheet forming water pipe 30 is then lowered to expand the bellows 28, and the water for forming laver sheets is withdrawn to complete the sheet formation. The sheet forming frames 6 are lifted, and the reed screen 31 is caried out to set the next reed screen.
