    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a hollow fine particle excellent in dispersibility. SOLUTION: A method for producing the hollow fine particle comprises the steps of: dispersing a fine particle 18 to be encapsulated in an aqueous solution containing a substance for forming the hollow fine particle to form a disperse phase 16; discharging a droplet 40 of the disperse phase 16 into a lipophilic continuous phase 32 through a film member 20 (or a microchannel 20) having the predetermined pore size to form a water-in-oil emulsion; adding a cross-linking agent 52 to the water-in-oil emulsion to cross-link the substance for forming the hollow fine particle and form a fine particle 60 containing the fine particle to be encapsulated; and throwing the fine particle 60 containing the fine particle to be encapsulated in a solvent 72 capable of dissolving the fine particle 18 to be encapsulated to form the hollow fine particle 80 having at least one hollow pore 82 and 0.1-10 μm average particle size.
