摘要： An image forming method is provided to attain a higher security for preventing forgery and falsification of information by using an optical diffraction structure. In a body (10) whereupon a layer is to be transferred, printing information (2) is recorded. On the body (10), a layer (20d) including a hologram and a diffraction lattice provided on an optical diffraction structure transfer sheet (20) is transferred, and an image including recorded printing information (2) and optical diffraction structures (3, 4, 5) is formed. The layer (20d) including the optical diffraction structure is transferred so that the diffraction lattice (5) to be transferred forms diffraction lattice information (5) showing a prescribed regularity in a corresponding relationship between the printing information (2).

The transferring method transfers a thermal transfer sheet in which a hologram or a diffraction grating is laminated on a base material film, wherein a direction of heating sequentially by a heat source of a minute area unit and a direction of recorded information for enhancing optical effects of the hologram or the diffraction grating coincide with each other.

摘要： This invention provides a transfer foil, which, even in a relief formation layer formed of a highly heat resistant material, can realize good embossing properties of a relief structure and good printing durability of a embossing stamper, and, even in transfer, for example, using a thermal printer, can realize good transferability of a high-definition image, and an image formed object using the transfer foil. The transfer foil comprises a base material, a peel layer, a relief formation layer, and a reflective layer formed in that order. The transfer foil is characterized in that the peel layer comprising at least a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature of 120 to 200° C. and the relief formation layer being formed of a cured product of an ionizing radiation curable resin.

摘要： A liquid toner of the present invention comprises particles containing a foaming inhibitor and an electrically insulating dispersion medium dispersing the particles therein. One preferred liquid toner comprises copolymer resin particles and an electrically insulating dispersion medium, the copolymer resin particles containing a copolymer resin composed of at least two different monomer components including a first and a second monomer components and a foaming inhibitor, and the copolymer resin particles being dispersed in the dispersion medium, wherein the copolymer resin and the dispersion medium are related to each other such that (i) a difference &Dgr;(&dgr;p1−&dgr;d) between a SP value &dgr;p1 of a homopolymer composed only of the first monomer component and a SP value &dgr;d of the dispersion medium is not smaller than 1.0, (ii) a difference &Dgr;(&dgr;p2−&dgr;d) between a SP value &dgr;p2 of a homopolymer composed only of the second monomer component and the SP value &dgr;d is not larger than 1.0, and (iii) a difference &Dgr;(d p1−&dgr;p2) is at least 0.5, and each of said copolymer resin particles has a configuration in which a core portion insoluble in the dispersion medium is surrounded with an outer skin portion soluble or swellable in the dispersion medium. A foamed product having a convexo-concave pattern is formed by applying the foaming inhibitor on a foamable preform in a prescribed pattern via an on-demand printing method auch as an electrostatic record or an electrostatic image transfer with the use of the above described liquid toner, and then foaming same.

摘要： Described herein is an X-ray beam conditioning device that has a crystal holder and a motor. The crystal holder supports a first crystal block and a second crystal block, each of which diffracts X-ray by a specific diffraction angle. The motor can rotate the crystal holder around an axis extending at right angles to a plane including an optical axis of X-ray and can support the crystal holder and fixedly supporting the crystal holder at thus rotated position. The crystal holder holds the first and second crystal blocks at such angles to each other that both crystal blocks diffract X-ray. The optical axes of the two crystal blocks can be adjusted, merely by rotating the crystal holder about said axis, namely only one axis.

A foamed product having a convexo-concave pattern is formed by applying the foaming inhibitor on a foamable preform in a prescribed pattern via an on-demand printing method such as an electrostatic record or an electrostatic image transfer with the use of the above described liquid toner, and then foaming same.
