    • A developing solution composition for a silver halide color photographic material is described, comprising an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sup.3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group; and the total number of carbon atoms contained in R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is at least 3.The color developer composition has improved stability and color forming properties and remarkably limits fog formation during continuous processing.A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material including the step of developing a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer with a developing solution comprising an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a compound represented by formula (I) described above, and substantially no benzyl alcohol content, is also disclosed.

    • A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material comprising a reflective support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a color coupler or color couplers, which comprises the step of, after imagewise exposing, developing said silver halide color photographic material with a color developing solution which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol and which contains an aromatic primary amine color developing agent represented by formula (A): ##STR1## wherein X represents a compound capable of forming a salt with a primary amine; and a compound represented by formula (I): ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy or amino group; and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group; or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be bonded to each other to form a carbon ring or a hetero-ring.The color developing solution used in the present method has improved stability and color forming properties.

    • A silver halide color photographic material enables rapid processing, provides a high quality image and has excellent light fastness under extensive conditions, even under high humidity comprises a support, provided thereon at least three silver halide emulsion layers each containing at least one different coupler for forming a different dye by a coupling reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and each having a different light sensitivity, and at least one anti-color mixing layer provided between each of the emulsion layers and comprising a light-insensitive layer, wherein at least one of the above silver halide emulsion layers contains silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of 90 mole % or more and a magenta coupler represented by the following formula (I) and at least two of the anti-color mixing layers contain at least one anti-color mixing agent having a molecular weight of 350 or more and at least one high boiling organic solvent having the dielectric constant of 5.0 or more: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z.sub.a, Z.sub.b, and Z.sub.c each represent methine, substituted methine, .dbd.N--, or --NH--; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of splitting off upon a coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a developing agent; provided that a dimer or polymer may be formed via R.sub., Y or Z.sub.a, Z.sub.b or Z.sub.c each of which is a substituted methine.
