The light source is arranged under the lower wall. The upper wall has a light reflecting portion configured to reflect light exiting through the light exit portion and traveling upward in the inside handle well toward the inside handle. 摘要： An engine controlling device and method for a hybrid vehicle that includes an engine and a motor-generator as driving sources and has an electric-vehicle (EV) drive mode in which the vehicle is driven using only the motor-generator as a driving source and a hybrid (HEV) drive mode in which the vehicle is driven while including the engine as a driving source. When the vehicle is in a stopped state while the driving force of the engine is not being used, the device estimates a minimum driving torque required for starting the vehicle from the relationships among a brake torque, a motor-generator torque and a vehicle speed during a transitional period of a brake-pedal releasing operation. Based on the estimated minimum driving torque, the device determines prior to pressing of the accelerator pedal whether it is necessary to use the engine for a driving force of the hybrid vehicle.

The light exit portion includes a first light exit portion and at least two second light exit portions arranged along a longitudinal direction of the light exit portion to sandwich the second light exit portion therebetween. Light from the light guide member directly reaches the portion to be illuminated via the first light exit portion and light from the light guide member indirectly reaches the portion to be illuminated via the second light exit portion.

摘要： During vehicle drive under an EV mode, a battery charge state SOC becomes smaller than a SOC(L) at time t0. As a result, EV→HEV mode change is carried out. After time t1, deceleration is desired, and an accelerator opening APO is kept at 0. At time t3, the SOC increases and becomes greater than or equal to a SOC(H) by the HEV mode. In this case, after time t1 of release of an accelerator pedal, the SOC(H) is cleared at time t2 at which a vehicle operating condition is judged to be a low load drive condition in which a motor/generator performs regenerative braking. By making a judgment of HEV→EV mode change based on the SOC(L) instead of the SOC(H), the HEV→EV mode change is carried out before time t3. A regenerative braking time Δt with the engine dragged is therefore shortened, and a regenerative braking time with no-engine drag can be correspondingly lengthened, improving an energy recovery performance.
