    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting apparatus of the inside of a pipe of an inspecting apparatus in a system for inserting a sensor body into a pipe to be inspected while rotating the sensor body, and has improved wire passage capacity at the bending joint section of the inside of the pipe to be inspected by contriving the shape or the like of the sensor body. SOLUTION: The inspecting apparatus 1 of the inside of the pipe comprises the sensor body 11, and a tubular or rod-like support 12 that is connected to the base edge of the sensor body 11 for inserting the sensor body 11 into the pipe to be inspected. The sensor body 11 comprises a detection means for grasping the condition inside the pipe to be inspected and a covering member for covering the detection means. The covering member has a plurality of projections 11a, 11b at the tip side of the sensor body 11, and at the same time a cross section in an axial direction at a site other than the projections is nearly in an elliptic shape.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus of the inside of a pipe that can efficiently transmit rotational force to a sensor body, has improved flexibility, and can obtain stable rotational thrust by bringing a support into contact with the inner wall of the bend joint section of a pipe to be inspected stably, and hence has superb wire passage capacity in the pipe to be inspected.
      SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus 1 of the inside of the pipe comprises the sensor body 11 and the support that is connected to the base edge of the sensor body 11 for inserting the sensor body 11 into the pipe to be inspected. In the support, a projection being extended in a longitudinal direction spirally winds a strip of stiff member that is formed at one portion in a widthwise direction so that one portion in the widthwise direction overlaps. Then, the support body is set to be a flexible pipe 12 that is formed so that the overlapped sections of the stiff member are formed slidably in axial directions each other. Then, an elastic member 125 that is connected to the base edge of the sensor body 11 and is extended in the axial direction is provided inside.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method, which can accurately measure a wall thickness, painted film and the like from outer surfaces of a steel pipe, even in the case an obstacle such as a support structure of a water tube bridge exists on the surface of the steel pipe.
      SOLUTION: In the measuring method, measuring instruments 22,23, a device 9 for moving up and down sensors of the measuring instruments and a detector 24a for detecting a position of a cart are installed on the cart having a pair of caterpillars 12, two motors 3 for driving respective caterpillars and a permanent magnet 5. In the measuring apparatus, the caterpillar is set to be swingable in a direction orthogonal to its travel direction, and the permanent magnet is fixed to the cart so that a space is formed between the under surface of the magnet and a surface of the steel pipe being an object to be measured. Therefore, by using the measuring method, the wall thickness, the painted film and the like can be accurately measured from the outer surface, even in the case the obstacle such as the support structure of the steel pipe being piped exists on the surface of the steel pipe.
