    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic diffusion plate by which diffused light having the objective light diffusing characteristic can be reproduced without using a complicated algorithm to be used when a computer-synthesized hologram is designed and which has high resolution, and to provide a method for manufacturing the holographic diffusion plate. SOLUTION: The holographic diffusion plate has a holographic layer for reproducing the objective reproduced light as diffused light. The holographic layer is composed of two or more regions each of which has phase information and amplitude information for reproducing the diffused light of predetermined average light intensity in a predetermined view angle zone. One region has the phase information different from that of another region at the least.
