    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous film carrying reactive polymer which can be used appropriately as a separator for manufacturing a battery provided with sufficient adhesion between an electrode/separator and to provide a method for manufacturing the battery using such reactive polymer carrying porous film. SOLUTION: The separator for the battery is manufactured by having first and second layers of reactive polymer carried on a base porous film in this order. The first and the second reactive polymer layers are obtained by reacting and cross-bridging first and the second cross-bridging polymers which have provided in their molecules one kind of a first reactive group selected from an oxetanyl group and an epoxy group and a second reactive group reacting with isocyanate group with multi-organic functions isocyanate. At this time, the first cross-bridging polymer is provided with a glass transition temperature of 10 to 50°C and the second cross-bridging polymer is provided with a glass transition temperature which is within a range of 45 to 80°C and at the same time which is higher than that for the first cross-bridging polymer.
