    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an industrially useful long-chain alkyl pendant type peeling agent with an improved heat resistance, especially to one that does not indicate lowering of peeling performance even when heated at 100°C or higher, and to provide a peeling method that uses the peeling agent.
      SOLUTION: The long-chain alkyl pendant type peeling agent is obtained by blending a polymer with a 12-28C long-chain alkyl group as a side chain that has a peeling property, as a main agent, with a photo-crosslinking agent that generates radicals by UV rays, or with a compound having an unsaturated double bond as a photo-crosslinking adjuvant in addition to the agent. The peeling agent is applied onto a surface to be peeled, followed by UV irradiation, so as to form a peeling layer with the agent crosslinked.
