    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction filter filtering medium capable of exhibiting an excellent cleaning resistance characteristic, and its using method.
      SOLUTION: The suction filter filtering medium 4 includes a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) porous film 1; a gas-permeable protection film 3 arranged on on main surface side of the PTFE porous film; and a pre-filter film 2 arranged between the PTFE porous film and the gas-permeable protection film. In the suction filter filtering medium 4, the main surface of the gas-permeable protection film 3 is exposed, a fiber diameter of the gas-permeable protection film 3 is larger than 15 μm and a fiber diameter of the pre-filter film is in a range of 0.2 μm to 15 μm. Further, the suction filter filtering medium 4 is used such that the gas-permeable protection film is arranged in the most upstream side relative to a gas stream passing through the suction filter filtering medium.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter medium for a cleaner removing attached dust easily and repeatedly usable while keeping collection efficiency.
      SOLUTION: A porous membrane layer 11 of two layers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) keeps damage caused by rubbing by a brush to the layers above support layers 12, by using the air filter medium 10 layered via the support layers 12, to avoid damage to the PTFE porous membrane of the layer lower than the support layer. Thus, lowering of the collection efficiency of the filter medium can be suppressed to easily remove attached dust, allowing repeated use of the filter medium while keeping the collection efficiency.
