摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a deodorizing fiber sheet having performance of adsorbing VOC gases harmful to humans and aldehydes and aromatics contained in odors associated with daily living.
SOLUTION: An aldehyde adsorbent is used which comprises at least one zeolite selected from among types A and X, and a hydrazide compound. The weight ratio of the zeolite to the hydrazide compound is desirably in the range of 50:1 to 2:1. A fiber sheet is allowed to carry the aldehyde adsorbent to form a deodorizing fiber sheet. When the adsorbent contains a binder, the weight ratio of the zeolite to the binder is desirably in the range of 20:1 to 2:1.

The zeolite and a hydrazide compound can be obtained by depositing the hydrazide compound on the zeolite and further binders such as a clay mineral can be contained therein. The adsorptive molding can be made into proper shapes such as a granulated product, a pellet-like molding and others by the well-known molding methods such as the extrusion molding.
