    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welding method which controls consumption of a resistance welding electrode and controls the deformation of an inner surface shape with an excellent joining intensity, when joining another member to a cylindrical member having a plated steel sheet as a material with the resistance welding method.SOLUTION: One electrode of a pair of electrodes is brought into contact with a surface opposite a joint surface of another member joined to a cylindrical member and the other electrode thereof is brought into contact with an outer surface of the cylindrical member. Furthermore, in a condition in which a columnar welding jig made of a material having a larger electric resistance than the cylindrical member is inserted into the inside of the cylindrical member, electrification is performed between the pair of electrodes. In this case, the material of the welding jig is preferably ceramics.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at low cost a connecting structure of a rod-like member and plate members which can transmit required torque even when welding joint portions are minimized, in which the rigidity of the plate members is high, and which can maintain durability and corrosion resistance even without providing post plating.
      SOLUTION: The rod-like member of a circular shape in cross section, on the outer surface of the end of which protruding parts are formed, and two pieces of the plate members are prepared. A cutout part of a semicircular shape, which is fitted to the outer circumference of the rod-like member of the circular shape in cross section, is formed at the end of each plate member. Concurrently, recessed parts, which are fitted to the protruding parts are provided outside the cutout part by half blanking. After setting the two pieces of the plate members together in such a way that the recessed parts encircle the protruding parts of the end of the rod-like member of the circular shape in cross section, two pieces of the plate members and the protruding parts and the recessed parts are fixed to each other.
