    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a noise caused by an infrared ray reflected by an element domain other than a light receiving surface, and to prevent decline of detection accuracy.
      SOLUTION: A rugged structure constituted of temperature-sensing resistors 4 and a rugged structure constituted of protrusions 10 are formed respectively on the surfaces of a membrane 2 and temperature-sensing resistors (p-type thermopiles 4a and n-type thermopiles 4b) functioning as a temperature detection part 9. Since pitches Px, Py of the rugged structure are set to have shorter values than a wavelength of the entering infrared ray, the infrared ray entering the temperature detection part 9 is dispersed by the rugged structure, to thereby suppress reflection of the infrared ray by the temperature detection part 9. Consequently, a noise caused by the infrared ray reflected by the temperature detection part 9 can be suppressed, and decline of detection accuracy of this infrared detection element can be prevented.

Getter layers 41, made of a getter material that absorbs impurity gases is formed, on the surface of infrared-absorbing film 22a. Impurity gases in the recess of the resin-sealed substrate are absorbed by the getter layers 41, and vacuum inside the recess is maintained.
