In the bearing device, each member contacts slidably with one another through the intermediary of grease whose basic oil is ester oil and/or ether oil. By forming a hard carbon thin film whose hydrogen content is 20 or less atom% in at least one sliding contact surface of the inner race member 3, an outer race member 4, the rolling member 6 and the sealing members 7, 8, the friction of mutually sliding contact portions between the members is considerably decreased.
