    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress oil level fluctuation in an oil pan by, in particular, pumping pressure of a piston, and to prevent a back flow of the oil from the oil pan to a baffle plate, in an oil pan device for an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: In the oil pan device for an internal combustion engine, a baffle plate 13 is disposed between a crankshaft 7 and the oil pan 5 attached to a lower part of a cylinder block 1. When seen on the baffle plate 13, a predetermined gap G is formed between an end part 13b of the baffle plate 13 downstream in a rotational direction of a crankshaft 7 and a side wall 5b of the oil pan 5, and on the other hand, the end part 13a upstream in the rotational direction of the crankshaft 7 is adjacent to the side wall 5a of the oil pan 5. Therefore, the oil on the baffle plate 13 is collected in the oil pan 5 through the predetermined gap G disposed to the downstream in the rotational direction of the crankshaft 7.
