摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee protector device capable of being provided on an instrument panel of a vehicle without narrowing a cabin and protecting the legs of an occupant seated facing to the instrument panel. SOLUTION: The knee protector device 10 is provided on the instrument panel 12 of the vehicle 11 and protects the leg L of the occupant C seated facing to the instrument panel. The device is provided with a protector body 15 selectively retained to storage attitude S constituting a part of the instrument panel 12 and protection attitude P projected from the storage attitude and protecting the legs of the occupant; a driving mechanism 16 for displacing the protector body from the storage attitude S to the protection attitude P. The protector body 15 has a rotation axis (17) along a width direction of the vehicle 11 on any one edge of an upper edge or a lower edge at the protection attitude P and can be displaced from the storage attitude S to the protection attitude P by pivoting around the rotation axis.
