      SOLUTION: The method for producing the briquette comprises adding a binder to the heated dust coal, kneading the resultant mixture, then carrying out pressure forming of the kneaded mixture and producing the briquette. In the method, the binder is added to knead the dust coal heated at 135-170°C and the pressure forming is then carried out to produce the briquette. The grain size distribution after kneading of the dust coal with the binder is 35-50 mass% of grains having ≥600 μm grain diameter and 5-15 mass% of grains having ≤75 μm grain diameter.
