    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device not only accurately estimating power transmitted to a vehicle via a shock absorber by detecting elastic constant of an elastic body of the shock absorber but also accurately controlling the vehicle to inhibit vibration generated on the vehicle based on the estimated power. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a detection means detecting the elastic constant of the elastic body absorbing shock generated when power is transmitted to the vehicle by elasticity, an estimation means estimating power transmitted to the vehicle based on the elastic constant detected by the detection means, and a control means controlling the vehicle to inhibit vibration which is generated on the vehicle by power estimated by the estimation means. This structure can not only accurately estimate power transmitted to the vehicle via the elastic body by detecting elastic constant of the elastic body absorbing shock by elasticity but also accurately control the vehicle to inhibit vibration generated on the vehicle based on the estimated power. When the rotation fluctuation ΔNe is synchronized with the fluctuation Δθ of the torsional angle, it is determined (S170) that the difference between the target engine speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne is the threshold Nref or more by the misfire of any one of the cylinders of the engine 22. When the rotation fluctuation ΔNe is not synchronized with the fluctuation Δθ of the torsional angle, it is determined (S180) that the difference between the target engine speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne is the threshold Nref or more by disturbance from the road surface. Thereby, it is possible to accurately determine misfire of any one of cylinders of the engine 22 according to the road surface condition.
