    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which can enhance detection accuracy of the operational state of a needle valve.SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve 1 includes a body 2 having a nozzle 11 and a needle valve 36 for controlling the injection and non-injection of the fuel from the nozzle 11, and further includes a magnet 40 to be reciprocated together with the needle valve 36 and a coil 41 for generating the voltage by the reciprocation of the needle valve 36. A processing circuit 50 for detecting the operational state of the needle valve 36 by processing the voltage generated in the coil 41 is connected to the fuel injection valve 1. The processing circuit 50 has a coil voltage detection circuit 59 for detecting the magnet temperature correlation value correlated to the temperature of the magnet 40, a first inversion amplifier 64 for correcting the voltage generated in the coil 41 by the operation of the needle valve 36 based on the correlation value detected by the circuit 59, and an integrator 56 for detecting the operational state of the needle valve 36 from the voltage corrected by the amplifier 64.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device that can reduce the power consumption of a fuel pump.SOLUTION: A regulator 3 is arranged in a fuel passage 9 which connects the fuel pump 2 with a fuel injection valve 11. The regulator 3 releases the fuel passage 9 when the fuel pressure of a downstream-side fuel passage 13 is lower than control pressure P3, and blocks the fuel passage 9 when the fuel pressure of the downstream-side fuel passage 13 is higher than the control pressure P3. An ECU 5 stops the drive of the fuel pump 2 when fuel pressure detected by a pressure detector 4 reaches first set pressure P1 or higher, and drives the fuel pump 2 when the detected fuel pressure is lowered to second set pressure P2 or lower. The first set pressure P1, the second set pressure P2 and the control pressure P3 are in a relation of P1>P2≥P3. By this, fuel which is pressure-sent to the fuel passage 9 from the fuel pump 2 is supplied to the fuel injection valve 11 without being returned to a fuel tank 8, and thus a stop time of the fuel pump 2 can be elongated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a capacity of a pump for supplying fuel in a fuel injection valve in which a displacement enlargement rate is varied when a nozzle needle is lifted.
      SOLUTION: An outer needle stopper 3 is slidably attached to the outer periphery of the nozzle needle 12 on the opposite side to an injection hole. When a piezoelectric piston 6 is driven by a piezoelectric actuator so that the pressures of displacement enlarging chambers 222, 232 are increased, the nozzle needle 12 and the outer needle stopper 3 receive the pressures and the nozzle needle 12 is urged in a valve opening direction. When an amount of lift of the nozzle needle 12 reaches a predetermined lift amount, the movement of the outer needle stopper 3 is restricted by a stopper 236 so that the displacement enlargement rate is varied. Further, since a high pressure part is connected to a low pressure part via a sliding part through only one path extending from the displacement enlarging chamber 222 via the outer peripheral side of the piezoelectric piston 6 to the low pressure part, a fuel leak amount to the low pressure part is decreased to thereby reduce the capacity of the fuel supplying pump.

Sensitivity of the lift amount of the valve element 16 with respect to the applied electric voltage can be therefore increased. Thus when the fuel of a minute quantity is injected by the piezo type injector 1, the fuel injection of the minute quantity can be highly accurately performed with fluctuation of the lift amount of the valve element 16 inhibited.
