    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the reliability of oil properties detected by an oil property sensor, by suppressing dirt adhesion onto the oil-property sensor.
      SOLUTION: This oil-property detection device 3 includes a fixed member 4, a stay 5, a float 6 and the oil property sensor 7. The stay 5 includes a connector part 51, fixed to a sidewall 2 of an oil pan 1 through a fixing member 4, a link 52 whose one end is rockably mounted on the connector part 51, and a sensor mounting part 53 mounted on the other end of the link 52 rockably. As for the sensor mounting part 53, a plurality of floats 6 are mounted on the upper part thereof, and the oil property sensor 7 is mounted on the lower part. In the oil-property sensor 7, a light is emitted from a light-emitting unit 71 traveling toward oil in an oil chamber 75, and the quantity of transmission light transmitted through the oil is detected by a light-receiving unit 72. In an operation part 10, a transmission rate through the oil is calculated based on the quantity of received light detected by the light receiver 72. An angle sensor for detecting a relative angle therebetween is provided on a connection part between the connector part 51 and the link 52.
