摘要： Disclosed is a water-based black ink composition which exhibits a low intensity, colorless and neutral black color and provides a black recorded image the printed image of which has high density. The ink composition comprises at least one compound represented by the formula (1) or a salt thereof as a pigment (I) and an azo compound having »max within the range of 550-660 nm as a pigment (II). In the formula (1), R 1 to R 8 independently represent a hydrogen atom; a halogen atom; a sulfo group; a carboxy group; a sulfamoyl group; a carbamoyl group; a C1-C4 alykyl group; a C1-C4 alkoxy group; and a C1-C4 alkoxy group, or the like substituted with at least one group selected from a group consisting of a hydroxy group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, a hydroxy C1-C4 alkoxy group, a sulfo group and a carboxy group. X represents a bivalent cross-linking group.

摘要： Provided is a porphyrazine dye suitable for use in ink-jet recording, the porphyrazine dye giving a cyan ink with a satisfactory hue, having various excellent fastness properties, in particular, ozone resistance, and attaining a high color density. 摘要： Disclosed is an aqueous black ink composition which enables the formation of an excellent black recorded image having extremely high ozone gas resistance and a neutral and achromatic color. The ink composition comprises: a dye (I) which comprises at least one compound represented by specific formula (1) or at least one tautomer or salt of the compound; a dye (II) which comprises at least one compound represented by specific formula (3) or at least one tautomer or salt of the compound; and a dye (III) which comprises at least one compound represented by specific formula (4) or at least one tautomer or salt of the compound. In formula (1), R 1 and R 2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a sulfo group or the like; R 3 and R 4 independently represent a halogen atom, a sulfo group or the like; and n represents 0 or 1. In formula (3), m represents 0 or 1; R 101 to R 103 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a sulfo group or a C1-C4 alkoxy group; and a group D represents a phenyl or naphthyl group substituted by 1 to 3 slfo group.
