      CONSTITUTION: In a powdery Fe, 0.3W2wt% carbon powder, 3W15wt% Co powder, 3W15wt% Fe-Mo whose Mo content is 60W70%, 5W40wt% one kind or two kinds or more among Cr, Mo, W, Co and Si containing a carbide whose hardness Hv is 800W1,880 for crystalizing or depositing one kind or two kinds or more of elements selected from a group of Cr, Mo, W and V after sintering, and 3W20wt% one kind or two kinds or more of an Fe alloy which contains 0.5W2wt% C, whose balance consists of Fe, and whose hardness after sintering becomes Hv300W900 are mixed, formed and sintered, and also 1W20wt% Pb is infiltrated as necessary.

    • PURPOSE: To develop an Fe compound sintered alloy for valve seat which is excellent in high-temperature wear resistance by mixing powder of C, Co and Fe-Mo of each specified quantity, in Fe alloy powder containing at least one kind of Cr, Mo, V and Mn, and sintering them.
      CONSTITUTION: In powder of an iron alloy containing 1W20wt% at least one kind of Cr, Mo, V and Mn, 0.3W2wt% carbon powder, 3W15wt% Co powder, and 3W15wt% Fe-Mo powder whose Mo content is 60W70% are mixed. This mixed powder is pressed and formed in a metallic mold, and thereafter, sintered in an ammonia gas atmosphere of 1,150°C. Or, in addition, 1W20wt% Pb is infiltrated into a sintered part and a valve seat is manufactured. In this way, the valve seat can be manufactured by using an Fe sintered alloy which is excellent in wear resistance at a high temperature.
