    • PURPOSE:To control measurement of a flow rate by stretching three electric wires comprising a linear heating wire and a resistance wire located downstream near said heating wire in a pipe through which gas flows and another electric wire at a position located upperstream and not influenced by heat and by detecting changes of resistances of their resistance wires. CONSTITUTION:By using electrodes 16, 17, 18 in the upper part of a frame 11 made of ceramics and so on of a measuring device 10 inside a cylindrical flow measuring part, for instance, between an air cleaner 2 and a throttle valve 6 and grooves 116, 117, 118 in the under side of said frame, a resistance wire 14 made of platinum is stretched upperstream, a wire 13 downstream, and a heater 12 in the middle part. When current is supplied to a heater 12, temperature of the resistance 13 rises with the increased resistance value, and the resistance 14 indicates resistance values in correspondence with temperature of air. Each resistance and each heater are connected with the measuring part 15 and a flow is evaluated by using changes of values of heating power for the heater 12 and resistances 13, 14. Through the process, measurement that is strong mechanically and excellent in responsiveness to a speed is enabled, and by sending the output signal from the measuring part 15 to a control unit 7, an optimum condition for air adjustment for fire adjustment is obtained as suitable for the purpose.
