      SOLUTION: A dialyzer is provided which comprises a blood circuit for performing extracorporeal circulation of the blood of a patient, a blood purifying means connected to the blood circuit for purifying the blood flowing within the blood circuit, a blood pump arranged within the blood circuit, and the operation input means 7 for setting the driving speed of the blood pump arbitrarily on the basis of operation amount which is always in an initial state when an operation starts. The dialyzer is further provided with a validity determining means 17 for determining whether the setting by the operation input means 7 is based on an operational error or not. When the setting is determined to be not on the basis of an operational error, the validity determining means validates the setting by the operation input means 7, and when the setting is determined to be on the basis of an operational error, the validity determining means invalidates the setting by the operation input means 7.
