    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce permeability and hardening time without generation of cutback by mixing a modified asphalt emulsion and a thermosetting resin emulsion with aggregate of specified size.
      SOLUTION: The maximum size of aggregate is not more than 5 mm. If it exceeds the level the permeability of bedrock increase while the strength decreases. The use amount of hydraulic inorganic material is 5-15 wt.pts. and if it is below the range the rigidity of substrate material after hardened increases while the bending characteristic decreases if it exceeds the range to cause generation of cracking. The use amount of modified asphalt emulsion is 10-25 wt.pts. and if it is below the range a specified permeability is not attained while the stability decreases if it is over the range. The use amount of thermosetting resin emulsion is 1.5-6 wt.pts. and if it is below the range the durability decreases while the shock resistance decreases if it is over the range. In forming the bedrock of road, execution of pavement may be done under a normal temperature. Accordingly, there occurs no cutback or swelling phenomenon of front surface material, and the hardening time can be reduced.
