When displacement at the point U of application is caused in the vertical direction of one surface of an object 4, displacement of a power point T is caused in the in-plane direction of the one surface. Thereby, an elastic force F is caused in the elastic member 31A, rotational moment is caused around the fixed support S by the elastic force F, and a force P in the vertical direction of the one surface of the object is caused at the point U of application by the rotational moment. Non-linear characteristics shown in Fig.3 can be obtained by utilizing linear characteristics of the elastic member 31A and changes of spacings l1 and l2 due to angular displacements of the lever members 11 and 21. Since the electric actuator cannot be driven reversely, the shading screen can be stopped under the state where it is pulled out by an arbitrary distance, when the electric actuator is stopped and moreover, since the resilient force of the spring always acts on the arms, the shading screen does not slacken at any position. The delivery and take-up speeds of the screen can be stably controlled by the rotating speed of the electric actuator.
