    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal substrate for a dye-sensitized solar cell in which power generation efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell can be enhanced, while maintaining the corrosion resistance for the electrolyte of a dye-sensitized solar cell element.SOLUTION: The metal substrate 2 (metal substrate for a dye-sensitized solar cell) is provided with a clad material including a non-porous Ti layer 21 arranged on the positive electrode side (Z1 side) of a solar cell element 1 and composed of Ti having corrosion resistance for the iodine electrolyte 14 of the solar cell element 1, and a Cu layer 22 composed of Cu having an electrical resistance lower than that of the Ti layer 21 and bonded to the Ti layer 21 on the reverse side (Z2 side) from the solar cell element 1. Protrusions and recesses are formed on the upper surface 2a of the Ti layer 21 on the solar cell element 1 side.
